Becoming a part of the daycare community is an exciting journey for you and your child. Here’s how our enrollment process works:

TOUR OUR FACILITY:

Your first step is to see our world through your child’s eyes. We warmly invite you to visit our in-home center for a comprehensive tour. This is an opportunity for you to see our play areas and learning environment. You'll meet our caring staff, observe our daily routines, and experience the nurturing atmosphere we’ve created. Feel free to ask questions and discuss any specific needs or concerns you might have.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

If you feel that Busy Bee’s Daycare is the right place for your child, the next step is to fill out our enrollment application. This form will gather important information about your child and your family, helping us to understand your child’s needs and how we can best meet them. Our administrative team is available to guide you through this process and provide any assistance you may need.

ORIENTATION SESSION:

Once your application is accepted, we'll schedule an orientation session for you and your child. This is a crucial step in helping your little one adjust to the new environment. During this session, your child can interact with their future teachers and peers, and start getting comfortable in the new setting. We’ll also discuss important details like our daily schedule, health and safety policies, and communication protocols.

At Busy Bee’s Daycare, we believe that quality childcare should be within reach for every family. Here's an overview of our fee structures and financial assistance options:

Flexible Fee Structures

SUBSIDY ASSISTANCE

Our fee structures are designed to accommodate various needs and preferences. We offer different pricing based on the selected program (Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers) and attendance schedule

(full-time or part-time). Our fees are structured to provide you with clarity and predictability for your family’s budgeting.

We are pleased to accept childcare subsidy payments. We strive to provide nurturing care and early learning opportunities for all children. While we accept childcare subsidies, some subsidy programs do not fully cover our weekly rate. There may be an out-of-pocket co-payment for families. Please advise your particular subsidy program, so we can discuss any applicable fees.

SIBLINGS DISCOUNT

TRANSPARENT PRICING

At this time, we are unable to offer a sibling discount for enrolled families. Our daycare is required to maintain appropriate child to staff ratios under state licensing regulations. Each child who attends counts toward meeting those mandatory rations, regardless of family relationship. This is part of our commitment to provide individualized care and attention.

Our pricing policy is transparent, with no hidden costs. We provide a detailed breakdown of fees during the enrollment process, so you have a clear understanding of what is included.

Everything You Need to Know About Busy Bee’s Daycare

What are your operating hours?

Our daycare is open from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., Sunday through Saturday. We also offer extended care options for early drop-off and late pick-up, which can be arranged in advance.

What ages of children do you accept?

We welcome children from 6 months to 12 years. Our programs are specifically designed to cater to the needs of infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, and before/after school care.

What is your child-to-teacher ratio?

Our child-to-teacher ratios are set to ensure each child receives personalized attention and care. For infants, it’s 1:4, for toddlers and for preschoolers 1:8. These ratios are in line with state regulations and best practices in early childhood education.

What qualifications do your staff have?

All our staff members are qualified and have undergone thorough background checks. They receive ongoing training in first aid, CPR, and mandated reporter training to ensure the highest quality of care for your children.

How do you handle discipline and behavior management?

We use positive behavior management strategies that focus on understanding and addressing the underlying reasons for behavior. Our approach includes clear communication, setting age-appropriate expectations, redirection, and positive reinforcement.

What is your sick child policy?

For the health and safety of all children and staff, we ask that sick children be kept at home. If a child becomes ill while at our facility, parents will be notified immediately to arrange for early pick-up. Our policy includes guidelines on when a child can return to daycare after illness, based on symptoms and medical advice.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. Our menu is designed to accommodate various dietary needs and preferences, including allergies and special diets. Parents are welcome to discuss any specific dietary requirements with us.

How do you ensure the safety and security of the children?

Our in-home facility is equipped with security cameras indoor and outdoors. We conduct regular safety drills and have strict policies in place for child pick-up and drop-off. Our staff are trained in emergency response procedures to ensure the safety of all children.

Can parents visit during the day?

We welcome parents to see their children during daycare hours. However, unscheduled visits can be disruptive to our routine. For this reason we ask that you schedule a 10 minute visit.

How do you communicate with parents about their child’s progress and daily activities?

We believe in maintaining open and regular communication with parents. Our staff provides updates on your child’s activities, learning progress, and any significant moments or concerns. We also hold regular parent-teacher meetings and are always available for discussions about your child’s development.

What is your enrollment cancellation policy?

Should you need to cancel your enrollment, we require a notice of two (2) weeks. This allows us to manage our enrollment and staffing needs effectively. Details of our cancellation policy are outlined in our enrollment agreement.
